In your ARS On the Go Drive By bag from November 12th, you will find a piece of string and some construction paper.  Follow along with Amanda, our friend from MLC, as she talks about one of her favorite artists and shows you a fun way of abstract painting.  We also hope to meet with Amanda live on November 18th during the ARS Social Hour and do this project then as well, so maybe save it for the 18th if you plan on joining us!

Hi everyone.  In your November 12th ARS On the Go Drive By bag, you will find a bag to make a Thanksgiving Turkey.  Follow along with our friend from MLC as she makes the turkey craft.

Green Construction Paper—included in your bag

Orange Paint—one bottle given to each house

Black or Brown Marker—find this at home

Paper to protect your table that you are painting on—find this at home

October 2020 At Home

Hi everyone.  September got away from me with school starting and working at Kids Connection.  I hope everyone is well.  I know that a lot of you are also back to work, which is awesome.  The next ARS On The Go event will be Thursday, October 1^st from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the lower level parking lot of the Community Center.  It will be a drive-by event like in the past.  I hope that many of you can come.  As always, if you are unable to come, please call me at 507.217.0383 to arrange for delivery.  Thanks so much and stay well.  I will also be sending out an October Newsletter this week with more info.  ARS will have a fall t-shirt order coming up.  The shirts will be FREE of charge this fall to all participants.  If you are a staff, parent, PCA, friend of ARS, etc…..you may also order a t-shirt.  I am asking for a free will donation of no less than $5.00 for each shirt ordered.  I will have the design and size information in the October Newsletter.  See you soon!

ARS On the Go Event:    Thursday, October 1^st from 6:30p.m. to 7:00p.m. at the Community Center—-drive-by in the lower level Parking Lot. 

I hope to see you all at ARS on the Go this Thursday night from 6;30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Community Center parking lot.  Please call me if you are unable to attend.

Are you interested in playing BINGO online with other participants?  SMILES, Center for Independent Living in Mankato is offering ARS participants the chance to play BINGO in a zoom session.  Are you interested?  If you are, please send your email address to ARS at arsnu@newulmtel.net.  I will not share your email info will SMILES, I will just send you the info and a link and instructions on how to play.  If this is something that some of you are interested in, we may do it once a month or so in the evening online as well with just ARS participants.   So….let me know if you are interested!  You can also call me with any questions at 507.217.0383.
