July 2020 At Home

Hi everyone…..just wanted to post a note so you all know that we will not be meeting in July.  Concerts in the Park will start on Monday, July 6th at the Johnson Park football field.  Please go on your own, if you choose.  THE CONCERTS WILL NOT BE EVENTS SPONSORED BY ARS.  Also, if there are concessions available, please bring your own money, as ARS will not be paying for popcorn and water, at this time.  The next delivery or drive-by for projects will be coming up soon. I will get a July Newsletter posted and mailed out this week.  Stay well, friends!

Hi everyone.  We are still stuck at home for June, but a Newsletter is available.  Please check it out.  A drive-by edition of ARS on the Go will be held on Wednesday, June 17 from 7:00-7:30 p.m. at 18 Village Lane in New Ulm.  We hope you can make it!  Stop on by, stay in your car, and an ARS employee or volunteer will bring supplies to your car.  You can also make a sign to say hi to your friends at Village lane, and others who will be picking up.  Can’t make it to the drive-by?  Let me know and I can stop by.

June 202 At Home

ARS On The Go is coming to you.  Delivery will be after 1:30 on May26.  Directions for each activity are enclosed.  You can also check out Painting with Rhonda on our Facebook page….a video is posted there.  Keep sending photos of your projects and whatever else you are up to do I can share.  See ya!

ARS activities will be canceled for June.  On the Go deliveries will still be coming out to your houses.  If you want to be added or removed from On the Go deliveries, call me at(507) 217-0383 and let me know.  Thanks!  Karrie Borchert, coordinator

Hi everyone.  There will not be ARS in May.  Watch this website and Facebook for updates.

April 20-24, ARS staff will be delivering bags to each participant.  The bags will be loaded with activities like crafts and puzzles.  If you’ve been to ARS in 2020, we will be stopping by.  I will call each house next week with more details.  

With no clear opening date for city buildings, ARS is continuing with program cancellations until May 1st at this time.  This date is not set in stone and could change at any time.

Please note that all ARS Activities, bowling, Different Drummer, MLC New Friends, Karaoke, Craft nights, open swim nights, walking track, People First, Art classes, etc…ALL ARS Events are canceled until at least Monday, April 6th.  Please understand that this decision was not easy to make.  If you have any questions, please email me at arsnu@newulmtel.net or call me at 507.217.0383, and I will try to answer any questions you have.  I know that a lot of you will be upset by this news, and I am very sorry for that.    I want to thank you all for your understanding.

I do want to note that we are going ahead with the Cash Back Bowling Event on Saturday, March 14.  I encourage you to use your best judgement when coming to the event.

Different Drummer update: due to a very generous donation from Chris and Jenny Vorwerk and Barbra Ries, admission will be $10 for the meal with no cover charge. Please thank them when you see them at events (Alex’s parents and grandma).

Menu for 2/26 will be burger and fries or shrimp poppers and fries with fruit and dessert.
